Ciryl Gane Destroys Alex Pereira, Ends His Bid to be a 3 Division Champ

Alex Pereira entered the fight with the goal of becoming the UFC’s first three-division champion, albeit one with an interim title. Unfortunately for him, he left the cage battered and bruised.
Ciryl Gane, who looked excellent in his last fight against champion Tom Aspinall, before accidental eye pokes ended the fight in a NC, looks just as strong against the Brazilian. Gane seems to have finally reached his potential and has now brought much excitement to the potential rematch against Tom.
For Periera, it’s back to the drawing board, but he has recovered from losses well. Time will tell if he plans to stick around at heavyweight or drop back down to light heavyweight.
