Fury vs Joshua is Confirmed by Turki

Anthony Joshua will make his return to the ring against Kristian Prenga on July 25 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Should Joshua come through Prenga unscathed, he will finally fight Tyson Fury at the end of 2026 in arguably the most anticipated showdown in British boxing history, live on Netflix.
Joshua, 36, has not boxed since his involvement in the Lagos car crash which killed his two close friends Sina Ghami and Latif Ayodele on December 29.
Joshua (29-4, 26 KO) insisted he wanted an interim fight before heading into a Fury fight. In a press release on Monday, Joshua said: “It’s no secret I’ve taken some time to consolidate and rebuild to be ready for stepping back in to the ring and today is the next step on that journey.
“I’m delighted to have agreed a multi-fight deal starting with July 25th in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I’m looking forward to competing and picking up where I left off.”

The question, though, is who should he face?
Itauma has a few potential next steps that can position him squarely in the title picture. Itauma is now 14-0 (12 KO) and the gifted southpaw halted Franklin in March in Manchester, taking five rounds.
Potential opponents should become clear in the next few weeks, though its promising that he is returning in mid-2026.
