Born August 29, 1983, in Palm Springs, California, Timothy Bradley Jr. compiled an impressive 140-bout amateur career before turning professional in 2004. He went on to become a five-time world champion, capturing world championships in two weight divisions, establishing himself as one of boxing’s elite fighters, and a member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame.

Bradley won his first world title in 2008, traveling to England to defeat Junior Witter by unanimous decision for the WBC super lightweight championship. After successfully defending against Edner Cherry, he unified the division with a victory over WBO champion Kendall Holt. Bradley defended his WBO title four times, defeating Nate Campbell (NC 3), Lamont Peterson, Joel Casamayor (TKO 8), and unifying with WBC champion Devon Alexander (TKO 10).

In 2012, Bradley moved up to welterweight and captured the WBO title with a controversial split decision over Manny Pacquiao. He successfully defended the belt twice—first against Ruslan Provodnikov in 2013’s “Fight of the Year,” then against Juan Manuel Marquez, in a fight that Bradley references as the one that solidified his Hall of Fame case. After losing the rematch to Pacquiao in 2014, Bradley rebounded to win the interim WBO welterweight title from Jessie Vargas. He earned full recognition with a ninth-round TKO of Brandon Rios in 2015. Following a third loss to Pacquiao in their 2016 rubber match, Bradley retired with a professional record of 33-2-1, 1 NC (13 KOs).

Since retiring, Bradley has become a prominent voice in boxing media, having previously provided expert analysis as a commentator on ESPN’s boxing telecasts. Fans can get exclusive insights from Timothy Bradley Jr. on his Patreon channel, The Lab (https://www.patreon.com/cw/TimothyBradleyJr).
