Legacy Fight: Jon Jones vs Stipe Miocic
The fight is set! Stipe Miocic (20-4) will return to the octagon for the first time in more than two years to challenge Jon Jones (27-1), while headlining UFC 295 at Madison Square Garden this November 11. In what will be the promotion’s 30th-anniversary event, the UFC will be celebrating with a historic matchup between the greatest Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight in the promotion’s history.
Jones will return for the second time in 2023 which is fantastic news for the sport, as he previously took a three-year absence due to respective contractual and legal issues outside of the cage. Back in April, Jones teased that he sought a matchup with Stipe as a potential ‘retirement fight.’ If this is the case, fans will need to cherish every moment of this matchup between the two legendary mixed martial artists.
