Fury says that Usyk Has To Fight Him in December

WBC heavyweight champ, Tyson Fury, is dropping a bombshell on Oleksandr Usyk. He’s throwing down an ultimatum: fight me in December or face a lawsuit. Usyk, who holds the WBO, IBO, IBF, and WBA titles, last stepped into the ring back in August, putting Daniel Dubois to sleep with a knockout. Controversial win aside, Usyk set himself up for a chance at the undisputed crown.
In Fury’s own words, “Usyk’s a sausage.” According to the Gypsy King, the plan is for the big showdown to go down in December, and he’s all in. Fury seems confident, saying, “I’m expecting it to take place in December, that’s what I’ve been told, so I’ve got no reason to disbelieve it for sure.”
Fury takes his confidence a step further by claiming, “Usyk has to fight me in December, doesn’t have a choice. He’s signed a contract so if he doesn’t, he’s breached contract and he gets sued, so doesn’t really have a choice.”
Fury also made sure not to miss an opportunity to throw shade at his rivals, Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua. With renewed talks about the possibility of a match in April on the undercard of Fury vs Usyk, this was easily dismissed by the Gypsy King.
“It’s quite embarrassing really when you’ve got a former heavyweight world champion begging for a fight, begging to be on the undercard,” Fury told IFL TV.
“Is he a child or what? He wants to go on my undercard? Him vs Wilder? Battle of the biggest loser? Go and get your own show.”
“They’re both out in the cold and they’re both frozen so it doesn’t really matter.”
Tyson Fury is (33-0-1, 24 KO) and looking to close the weekend with another win. Fury is full steam ahead for Ngannou this weekend, with an eye towards Usyk and history.
