Crawford is Looking to March Forward

Terence Crawford’s return to the ring looks set to happen sooner rather than later.

The undefeated Omaha native has stayed quiet about his future since adding the undisputed super middleweight crown to his résumé back in September, admitting in recent interviews that his next move was still undecided.

However, Crawford recently issued a public callout to a current middleweight champion, seemingly ending any chance of sharing the ring with the Mexican superstar again.

Now, it appears Crawford is inching closer to his comeback. According to an update from Chris Mannix, a potential March return is in the works. “Terence Crawford is not in the mix to face Jake Paul, sources say. Crawford is targeting his own event in March,” Mannix posted on X.

Crawford is reportedly eyeing another shot at history. If successful, he could become the first fighter ever to claim four undisputed crowns across different weight divisions.

Keeping a close watch on the middleweight landscape, Crawford confirmed his interest in facing unbeaten 17-0 champion Janibek Alimkhanuly.

Alimkhanuly, the reigning WBO and IBF middleweight titleholder, returns to action in December to face Erislandy Lara in a unification bout for the WBA championship, a fight that could set the stage for a major showdown with Crawford later in 2025.
