Errol Spence Jr. to Return After Three Years Against Tim Tszyu in June

By Eddie Sanchez

Errol Spence Jr. last stepped in the ring in July 2023, where he got thoroughly outclassed against the great Terence Crawford. For the first time in years, there are now plans for his return to action this summer against Australia’s Tim Tszyu.

Tszyu’s most recent outing was a success, securing a victory over Anthony Velazquez, but prior to this fight, he came up short in grasping the WBC light middleweight title in a beating against Sebastian Fundora, who finished the Australian in the seventh round.

While Spence is expected to return this summer, it has been reported that Tszyu will return earlier with another tune-up fight on the undercard of Lewis Crocker vs. Liam Paro, before their anticipated encounter.

Spence vs Tszyu will headline a PBC on Prime Video PPV, and will be Spence’s debut at 154 pounds. The bout is being targeted for either June 6 or 13 at a venue in Australia to be determined.
