Jake Paul Medically Suspended Indefinitely

By Eddie Sanchez

Cruiserweight boxer Jake Paul has been suspended indefinitely by the Florida Athletic Commission following his knockout loss to former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua last month in Miami, which should not come as a surprise considering the extent of “El Gallo’s” jaw injury.

In addition, former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley was also suspended for 30 days in the wake of his second-round knockout loss to ex-UFC middleweight titleholder Anderson “The Spider” Silva as part of the “Judgment Day” main card lineup on Netflix.

“I got four plates in my jaw but that’s part of the sport,” Paul said on the Impaulsive podcast.

“The healing process has been a little bit tough. I’m a little bit tired, it’s hard to sleep. I go onto the pillow and then my jaw twerks up to the left and I wake up. It’s all part of the sport and it was an amazing night and I learned a lot, gained a lot of experience and we’re moving onto more fights this year.”
